Meet our pastor
Our founding pastor is Gage Jung. He is an ordained minister and he is happily married to Soo. Gage has committed his life to designing a church that is gospel centered yet relevant for today. God has called Gage to a new walk of life in Flushing, Queens and he has an audacious vision to help lead an unprecedented revival in our generation.

We are a community of worshippers committed to our neighborhood. Our passion for GOD takes us beyond the static norm often correlated with following JESUS and into a resilient passion to embrace not only each other but today’s generation all in the name of love and legitimacy. We assemble all we have within to worship HIM whether it be through worship, small group community or mercy ministries.

WHAT IS HIPSTER CHURCH?
It isn’t a “hipster-type-only” church and no, it isn’t a group of hipsters calling their church a hipster church; which is actually corny. This isn’t simply a “cool” church for the sake of being “cool”. We are solely a church that loves our God and our NEIGHBORHOOD and it shows.
We want to bring relevancy and the holistic truth of the gospel to our loving community. Therefore, we recognizes that this generation is savvy, discerning and conscious. Now more than ever, this generation is tired of any form of religion. They want a church that is real, one that is fully alive and displaying the wonders of God's love.
IS HIPSTER CHURCH THE ACTUAL NAME OF THE CHURCH?
We haven't launched our church yet therefore, the name hipster church is an alias name. Our name at launch will be officially the NEIGHBORHOOD CHURCH.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT ONE OF OUR SERVICES?
God's presence will be felt and experienced. Our style of praise & worship is very comptemporary. We preach a gospel of grace, which is lived-out in community. We pray for the sick and the broken with the belief that God's transformative power can do the impossible.
WHAT’S TO COME…
We believe that GOD not only wants us to become better individuals but He wants our communities, our cities and eventually our world to become better too. We believe that JESUS gave us this life to have a positive impact in our community. Our very existence as a church is to introduce the people of our community to the greatest love relationship there is: a life in love with JESUS CHRIST, overtaken by grace.
We believe more than ever that people need real. They desperately want to be part of something that can be tangibly felt and seen in their lives and as a church it is our commitment to model that, not just say it. We want to build the best possible incubator for the spirit of God to positively affect change in the community of Flushing, Queens.
WHAT DENOMINATION OF CHRISTIANITY ARE YOU?
We are a non-denominational Christian church. We hold to the traditional orthodoxy of Christianity.
